Job description

Copello are working with an established and progressive Defence Business to recruit for a Head of Engineering on a 12 month contract initially.

With a management focus across a high performing Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving improvement whilst ensuring technology development is in line with the future capability requirements.

The Head of Engineering will manage an agreed Engineering budget and have a team of approximately 20 reports. You will have full autonomy with the resourcing and recruitment for the discipline, including the management of contingent resourcing.

Suitable candidates will have proven experience of leading a successful Engineering team with evidence of improvement, development of the team, and strong managerial skills.

Candidates will ideally have experience with Electronics, Systems, and/or Software along with an Avionics, Defence, or Aerospace background.
