Job summary

Affinity Learning Partnership at The Pingle Academy seeks a Head of Department to lead the Engineering, Art and Technology provision and inspire students and staff to excel. You will shape curriculum pathways for KS4 and KS5 and drive high standards across the department.

You will bring proven leadership in Engineering, develop teaching and learning, and collaborate with the Trust to reflect current practice and research.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an Engineering department in secondary education.
• Ability to deliver engaging KS4/KS5 curriculum and assessment.
• Track record of raising student outcomes and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering, Art and Technology department.
• Drive continuous improvement and raise standards across the department.
• Collaborate with staff to design strong curriculum pathways for KS4/KS5.
