Head of Engineering

Location: Grimsby - Recipe Dish

About Us: Join 2Sisters Food Group, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, at our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality meals and are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive our strategic initiatives.

The Role: As the Head of Engineering, you will be at the forefront of our engineering operations, ensuring the smooth running of our Grimsby site. This role is perfect for a seasoned engineering professional with a strong technical background and leadership experience. You will oversee a team of 15 engineers, manage the PPM schedules & CAPEX plan, and work closely with operations and new product development to align factory capabilities with our innovative product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and develop the engineering strategy, focusing on proactive rather than reactive measures.

· Oversee effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.

· Collaborate with operations and NPD teams to introduce new products.

· Manage the CAPEX plan for the site.

· Ensure the smooth operation of unique equipment, including large-scale kettles and cauldrons used in batch cooking.

What We’re Looking For:

· Extensive experience in engineering within a similar manufacturing environment.

· Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

· Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.

· Comfortable with fabrication and buildings maintenance.

· Ideally, experience with heat-based machinery and liquid form ingredients.
