Job Description:

Remote role - Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential

An innovative Energy organisation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to oversee all aspects of the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives.
• Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions.
• Manage energy infrastructure projects.
• Expand and develop the energy team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in senior, lead, principal, or head roles.
• Strong background in energy, sustainability, transport, supply, or related fields.
• Experience developing company-wide strategies and project approaches.
• Experience working with local authorities and organizations responsible for transport, energy, and infrastructure.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
• UK citizen without the need for sponsorship or visas.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
