Job Description:

Remote role - Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential

An innovative energy organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to oversee all aspects of the organization’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives
• Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions
• Manage energy infrastructure projects
• Expand and develop the energy team

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in senior, lead, principal, or head of positions
• Strong background in energy, sustainability, transport, supply, or a similar field
• Extensive experience developing company-wide strategies and project approaches
• Experience working with local authorities and organizations responsible for transport, energy, and infrastructure
• Experience leading a team and mentoring colleagues
• UK citizen without the need for sponsorship or visas
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
