Job Description:

Remote role - Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential

An innovative Energy organisation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to oversee the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives
• Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions
• Manage energy infrastructure projects
• Expand and develop the energy team

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in senior, lead, principal, or head roles
• Strong background in Energy, Sustainability, Transport, Supply, or related fields
• Experience developing company-wide strategies and project approaches
• Experience working with local authorities and organizations responsible for transport, energy, and infrastructure
• Leadership experience and mentoring skills
• UK citizen without the need for sponsorship or visas
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
