Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree (SCQF Level 9) or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing and developing staff.
• Proven track record in partnership funding and employability projects.
• Experience in budget management and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Discover Work (Employability) Partnership's Strategy, Governance and Funding Unit and develop key strategies and revenue projects.
• Facilitate the local employability partnership and promote external funding opportunities corporately and citywide.
• Lobby for future funding and lead on external funding bids.
• Coordinate the development of business cases and support project implementation.
• Supervise staff within the unit and ensure funding is managed effectively and compliantly across the Council.
• Align activities with the Council and Lead Accountable Body requirements under No One Left Behind.
