Job summary

Coalfield Community Transport SCIO in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated project manager to lead and deliver the employability project, working closely with the CEO on development and strategy.

You will coordinate activities, monitor progress against funding guidelines, manage the budget, engage with community partners, and drive additional funding opportunities while supporting participants throughout training.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and coordinating the delivery of a project
• Ability to monitor and evaluate progress against funding guidelines
• Budget management skills
• Ability to identify funding opportunities and match funding
• Experience in community engagement and using social media for outreach
• Strong collaboration with CEO and partners

Responsibilities

• Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the employability project
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the project according to the funding guidelines
• Managing and monitoring the budget for the project
• Pursue opportunities and strategies to grow the project
• Support participants with all aspects of the project until completion
• Support participants who have become disengaged with training, employability and skills
• Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to manage ongoing employability and pipeline projects
• Assist with the identification and application for sources of additional match funding that could be secured for the project and work closely with community and delivery partners
• Undertake community engagement events and communicate utilisation of social media to maximise the number and range of people involved
• Work closely with delivery partners to ensure that project plans are being followed through and that timetables and financial income/outgoings are being kept on track.
• Scope out, project manage and deliver additional project ideas such as wheels to work scheme
• Assist with activities that supports the Board and CEO
• Carry out such other appropriate duties and responsibilities as are required by the CEO
