Job summary

Keyline Care is launching a brand-new Ofsted-registered educational provision in Nottinghamshire and seeks an exceptional Head of Education to lead its development and ongoing success. You will shape an inclusive, ambitious learning environment for ages 7–17 with SEND/SEMH needs, ensuring outstanding outcomes and safeguarding compliance.

As a senior leader, you will drive strategic and operational decisions, build a high-quality curriculum, monitor progress, and collaborate with therapists,

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or another recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Leadership experience within an educational setting.
• Experience with SEND, SEMH, behavioural needs and complex presentations.
• Strong relationship-building, patience, empathy and resilience.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the education provision.
• Lead the provision through Ofsted registration, inspection and ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement an engaging, inclusive and ambitious curriculum.
• Monitor teaching quality, learner outcomes and progress to ensure high standards.
• Collaborate with Therapists, residential colleagues, families and external professionals.
• Manage safeguarding, attendance, behaviour and wellbeing across the provision.
• Ensure policies and practices comply with statutory requirements and best practice.
• Support children and young people to achieve positive educational, social and emotional outcomes.
• Contribute to ongoing growth and development of the provision and Keyline's vision.
