Job summary

Zertus UK & Ireland is seeking a Head of Procurement (Directs) to lead our direct materials sourcing across the UK & Ireland with a hybrid working model and international travel. You will manage a skilled procurement team, shape sourcing strategies, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive value and supply continuity.

Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will drive cost savings, supplier collaboration, and governance while supporting innovation and risk management in a fast-paced FMCG

Qualifications

• Significant procurement leadership experience in FMCG or related sector.
• Experience leading and developing procurement or category teams.
• Proven ability to create and execute procurement strategies.
• Strong direct materials and category management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of procurement professionals and develop sourcing strategies.
• Deliver UK & Ireland direct materials procurement strategy.
• Drive cost savings, PPV delivery, rebates and working capital improvements.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships for quality, service and sustainability.
• Manage commodity and category strategies across key spend areas.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Technical, Commercial and Finance to improve performance.
