Job summary

SaccoMann in Birkenhead is seeking a senior solicitor to head the residential conveyancing department. You will manage the day-to-day performance, oversee your own caseload and act as a senior point of contact for clients and the wider firm.

Lead, support and develop the conveyancing team, ensuring the quality and progression of work across the department.

The role also focuses on client relationship management, business development and process improvements to grow the department’s profile.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong client relationship management abilities.
• Ambition to develop the department and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting and developing the residential conveyancing team.
• Overseeing the quality and progression of work across the department.
• Managing a caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Providing technical guidance and support to the team on more complex matters.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and dealing confidently with escalated or complex queries.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and client service.
• Contributing to business development and helping to grow the department's profile and client base.
