Are you an experienced English Teacher with a passion for leadership and a desire to shape a dynamic English department?

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Head of English for a full-time, permanent position starting in Autumn 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving independent school in Hampshire, where you’ll play a key role in inspiring students and leading a passionate English team across Key Stages 3 to 5.

About the Role

As Head of English, you will lead the strategic development of the English curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to drive academic progress, engage learners of all abilities, and foster a genuine love for English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the English department with clarity and purpose
