The post holder will be the clinical lead for the Virtual function of the Home First Service for SDHC.
Person specificationQualificationsEssential criteria- Registered first level nurse/practitioner with relevent health degree
- Completed Master's Degree in Advanced Practice or working towards
- Non- medical independent prescribing for healthcare professionals or working towards
- Advanced clinical practice skills/ competencies
- Management of patients with acute medical illness
- Clinical examination skills
- In-depth knowledge in their specialist clinical field
Desirable criteria- Demonstration of Leadership or management experience
ExperienceEssential criteria- Significant post registration experience
- Leadership in quality initiatives such as clinical benchmarking, service development
- Significant experience in audit and research
- Healthcare professional prescribing
SkillsEssential criteria- Clinical leadership skills
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Negotiation and conflict management skills
- Change management
- Car driver with current UK driving license and access to car for work
