Gatwick Airport Limited is seeking a Head of Delivery (Dual Runway) to lead the construction phase of the multi‑billion‑pound Dual Runway and Surface Access programme within a live airport environment.

You'll shape the delivery strategy, lead a high‑performing team, manage Tier 1 contractors and delivery partners, and ensure safety, regulatory and environmental compliance while reporting to executive leadership.

Qualificações

• Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary client-side teams (up to 30 people).
• Significant experience delivering infrastructure programmes valued >£500m, with >£1bn desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead the programme-wide delivery strategy for the Dual Runway and Surface Access programme.
• Provide leadership across procurement, mobilisation, construction and handover phases.
• Lead a high-performing delivery team and drive a culture of excellence.
• Oversee Tier 1 contractors and partner mobilisation and performance.
• Champion health, safety and environmental performance across the programme and supply chain.
• Manage complex interfaces within a live airport environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and consent orders.
• Drive performance against cost, schedule, quality and carbon targets.
• Support development of low-carbon infrastructure solutions.
• Represent the programme at senior governance forums and deputise for the Capital Programmes Director.
