Job Description:

Head of Dealer Sales & Operations – Automotive Remarketing

  • Location: South West
  • Highly Competitive Basic Salary
  • Industry Leading Benefits package

The Company:

An industry-leading business with a unique footprint in the UK automotive landscape. Their scale, vision and purpose quietly underpin a significant proportion of the national vehicle movement and resale activity.

With over three decades of growth and impact, they have fostered a highly supportive and collaborative working environment, boasting exceptional employee engagement, strong values, and impressive tenure across teams.

The Role:

This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving sales performance and operational excellence across a high-performing, office-based contact centre.

Leading a team of approximately 30, you will be instrumental in managing and scaling B2B dealer relationships, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience, and enabling the smooth resale of vehicles through an expanding national dealer network.

You will join the wider leadership team, working closely with Marketing and Customer Support colleagues to refine and implement a growth strategy that ensures both commercial success and consistently strong dealer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-skilled contact centre team to deliver customer satisfaction and strong commercial results.
  • Shape and embed a customer management and growth strategy that is scalable and efficient as volumes increase.
  • Implement performance frameworks that boost productivity while maintaining a consistently high Dealer CSI score.
  • Act as the voice of the dealer network, influencing internal decisions and representing dealer needs across departments.
  • Partner with OEMs and dealer groups to streamline and scale the onboarding process across thousands of dealer customers.
  • Oversee budgets, cost control, and commercial governance, ensuring efficient use of resources and sustainable team growth.

Your Background:

You will bring a deep understanding of the UK automotive remarketing or fleet sector, ideally within dealer operations, commercial sales, or B2B customer management.

You will be:

  • An experienced people leader with a strong track record in building and developing high-performance contact centre or sales operations teams.
  • A commercially-minded operator with a focus on delivering outcomes that support growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Adept at managing strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including OEMs and large dealer groups.
  • Skilled in process optimisation, performance management and operational governance.
  • Data-savvy with the ability to translate insights into action and improvements.
  • A confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.

If you're ready to lead the evolution of a high-impact sales operation and play a central role in an organisation making a real difference across the automotive industry, then please apply via LinkedIn.
