Job summary

BUILTIN Talent in London is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform, build ingestion pipelines and develop the cloud data warehouse to support reporting, KPIs and dashboards used across the business.

Reporting to the CTO, you will collaborate with the CFO/COO/CRO on metrics, improve data quality, and push forward CI/CD and data governance in a hands-on, autonomous role within a hybrid South London setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery or Snowflake).
• Experience across the full data lifecycle from ingestion to dashboards.
• Ability to own a data platform and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the data platform.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines.
• Develop the cloud data warehouse and transformation layers.
• Improve data quality, testing and monitoring.
• Build MI, KPI views and dashboards.
• Collaborate with C-level and stakeholders on reporting and metrics.
• Investigate data issues and root causes.
• Deliver new data capabilities as the business grows.
• Advance CI/CD, documentation and data governance.
