The Solutions Development professional acts in a business consultancy capacity with extensive knowledge of supply chain and freight forwarding, passionate about industry advancement via technology and digitization. The successful candidate will develop, position, and demonstrate product-specific solutions during sales and consultative cycles, supporting commercial and account management teams to deliver compelling value propositions to prospective and existing customers.
Purpose
This role involves working closely with account and business development managers to identify, qualify, and pitch compelling value propositions to new and existing customers. For existing clients, Metro focuses on developing strategic partnerships through joint value creation initiatives.

The Supply Chain Development Manager creates customized and innovative solutions to optimize supply chain performance and costs, enabling clients to achieve operational cost reduction, administrative workload reduction, inventory reduction, revenue improvement, and enhanced service and quality by leveraging Metro’s products, services, and technology.
