Job description

Head of Customer Marketing- UK/IE

As Head of Customer Marketing UK/IE, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing marketing strategies and activities for the Professional Hygiene Business Unit (TORK) and will lead the Customer Marketing Team in the UK/IE.

You will create and execute marketing plans for assigned countries, collaborating closely with Business Unit Marketers and global stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Plans: Lead the creation and execution of customer marketing plans for select strategic customers.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish and maintain marketing relationships with strategic stakeholders, representing marketing in the Local Management Team.
  • Product Mix Monitoring: Oversee the overall product mix of customers and recommend changes in collaboration with the appointed Key Account Manager or sales lead.
  • Campaign Execution: Create and execute customer marketing campaigns (both offline and online) and loyalty programs to drive customer engagement, advocacy, and sales development.
  • Omnichannel: understand how to perform and navigate in the Digital shelf.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and continuously improve online listings, share of search, taxonomy, and the integrity and accuracy of commercial content.
  • Coordination of Activities: Collaborate with Product, Segment, and Brand managers to coordinate activities within your area of responsibility.
  • Budget Management: Manage the customer marketing budget for the business area, ensuring ROI calculations and setting KPIs, followed by corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop team capabilities in line with Essity’s core values and development program.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Marketer: Extensive experience in a marketing role within a multinational company.
  • Fluent in English, second language is desirable.
  • Dynamic and Passionate: Enthusiastic about marketing and brand development.
  • Flexible and Reliable: Committed and can do aptitude.
  • Leadership Skills: Passionate about coaching and developing others.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working within a matrix organization.
  • Willing to Travel: Open to traveling up to 40% of the time.
