Job summary

TUI Group, a leading travel and experiences company, seeks a Head of Customer Data Science & AI to shape the strategic direction of analytics across Marketing, Sales & Customers. You will drive AI initiatives, build business cases and deploy scalable ML solutions that boost customer engagement and operational performance.

You will lead a global team, collaborate with senior leaders, and advance responsible AI governance while exploring generative AI and new capabilities for customer benefit.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or related field including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success leading Data Science/AI teams and delivering measurable business value.
• Experience building models for CRM and digital personalisation across regions.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the strategic vision, roadmap for Data Science/AI across Marketing, Sales & Customers.
• Identify high-value opportunities for analytics and AI, building strong business cases.
• Lead development, deployment and optimisation of AI/ML solutions to enhance engagement and performance.
• Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI and regulatory compliance.
• Champion innovation by exploring emergent tech including generative AI for practical solutions.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across the data science community.
