The Role

As Head of Content, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing Art of Football’s content strategy. You'll lead a small team of writers, designers, and creatives to develop compelling narratives, campaigns, and digital content that drive brand love, community engagement, and commercial growth. You'll have a major voice in how we show up to the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver a bold, culturally relevant content strategy aligned with our brand vision.
  • Oversee content production across all channels (social media, web, newsletters, product, collaborations, editorial).
  • Lead storytelling for brand campaigns, product launches, and key moments in the football calendar.
  • Manage and mentor a growing content team.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure consistency and creativity across touchpoints.
  • Drive community engagement through storytelling that connects emotionally with fans.
  • Identify and nurture partnerships with creatives, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Analyse content performance and continuously optimise for reach, engagement, and conversion.

About You

  • Deep passion for football culture and a strong grasp of its cultural relevance beyond the pitch.
  • Proven experience leading content strategy and execution at a lifestyle, fashion, sports, or youth culture brand.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, both visual and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • A strategic thinker who also loves rolling up their sleeves to create.
  • Data-savvy — comfortable measuring success and using insights to refine strategy.
  • An eye for emerging trends in football, fashion, and youth culture.
  • Bold, creative, and unafraid to challenge the status quo.
