Job Title: Senior Conference Producer / Head of Content - Events

Location: London (Hybrid)

Reporting to: MD

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, commercially minded Head of Content to lead the production of high-level conferences within the insurance industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a fast-growing portfolio of B2B events, shaping the agenda, securing top-tier speakers, and delivering timely, relevant content that resonates with senior industry leaders.

As Head of Content, you will be responsible for end-to-end content development — from market research and programme creation to speaker acquisition and on-site delivery. You will act as the intellectual lead for your events, ensuring they are aligned with the latest market trends, challenges, and commercial opportunities across the insurance space.

This is a strategic, outward-facing role ideal for someone passionate about creating high-quality content, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and driving thought leadership in a constantly evolving sector.

The trajectory for this role is to grow into a Portfolio Manager position, overseeing a wider series of events and taking on additional commercial and strategic responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, commercial drivers, and content opportunities within the insurance sector.
• Design and develop conference agendas based on research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
• Recruit and manage high-level speakers, including C-suite executives, regulators, innovators, and policy experts.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the commercial success and smooth delivery of each event.
• Write clear, compelling copy for programmes, websites, and promotional materials.
• Attend relevant industry events and network with key players to stay ahead of the curve.
• Moderate sessions or chair events where appropriate, acting as a credible face of the brand.
• Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future editions.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term content strategy and support the growth of the insurance event portfolio.

About You

• 2+ years of experience in conference production or content development, ideally within B2B events.
• A strong interest in the insurance industry, with a desire to stay informed and continuously learn.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into commercially valuable content.
• Confident communicator with experience speaking to senior-level professionals and subject matter experts.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Ambition to grow into a Portfolio Manager role, taking on strategic and team leadership responsibilities.
