Hugh Baird College in Liverpool is seeking a Head of Department for Construction and related disciplines. This full-time, permanent role offers 37 hours per week and a salary of £47,645 to £51,082 per annum FTE.

You will lead a high performing curriculum area, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning and assessment while supporting strategic priorities of the college. You will work with the Director of Curriculum to develop curricula, engage with employers and learners, and drive continuous

Competenze

• Proven leadership of curriculum quality improvement and staff performance.
• Strong understanding of teaching, learning, assessment and QA in FE.
• Experience analysing performance data and implementing learner-outcome improvement strategies.

• Lead and manage the Construction department to meet objectives and performance targets.
• Drive quality improvement to secure outstanding teaching, learning and learner outcomes.
• Monitor curriculum performance using data and QA processes to identify improvements.
• Support curriculum planning and future provision in response to learner, community and employer needs.
