Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports into the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational, and they are looking for someone to work in partnership with them—helping to build out best-in-class compliance teams both in the UK and internationally.

Leading the business-facing and strategic part of the Compliance function, the role will include:

• Working closely with the business to ensure that activities are compliant with policies, laws, and regulations
• Having strategic oversight, regulatory interpretation, and stakeholder engagement to anticipate compliance risks and help shape decision-making
• Helping to lead and build key compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
• Project managing global and strategic transformational projects to enhance compliance with laws and regulations
• Designing controls and mitigations
• Assisting the business in designing new initiatives compliantly
• Implementing compliance policies and training programs internationally
• Interfacing with senior stakeholders, demonstrating gravitas, discretion, and high professional integrity

To be considered for the role, you should:

• Have extensive experience in compliance roles, particularly with sanctions and third-party due diligence
• Have held a global leadership position
• Be experienced in building compliance programs
• Possess exceptional project management skills and experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives
• Be comfortable operating both operationally and strategically, with the ability to shape direction and deliver outcomes
