Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is highly inspirational. The successful candidate will work in partnership with them to build best-in-class compliance teams both in the UK and internationally.

The role involves leading the business-facing and strategic aspects of the Compliance function, including:

• Ensuring business activities comply with company policies, laws, and regulations through close collaboration with the business
• Providing strategic oversight, interpreting regulations, and engaging stakeholders to anticipate compliance risks and influence decision-making
• Leading and developing key compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
• Managing global and strategic projects aimed at enhancing compliance with laws and regulations
• Designing controls and mitigation strategies
• Assisting the business in designing compliant new initiatives
• Implementing international compliance policies and training programs
• Interacting with senior stakeholders with professionalism, discretion, and integrity

To be considered, candidates should:

• Have extensive experience in compliance roles, particularly in sanctions and third-party due diligence
• Have held a global leadership position
• Be experienced in developing compliance programs
• Possess excellent project management skills and experience leading large-scale transformation projects
• Be comfortable with both operational and strategic responsibilities, capable of shaping direction and achieving results
