Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis. The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and involves building and leading compliance teams both in the UK and internationally.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring business activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations
  • Providing strategic oversight and stakeholder engagement to anticipate risks
  • Leading compliance programmes such as policy development, due diligence, and sanctions
  • Managing global transformational projects to enhance compliance
  • Designing controls and mitigation strategies
  • Supporting the design of compliant initiatives and implementing policies and training internationally
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders professionally and discreetly

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in compliance roles, especially sanctions and third-party diligence
  • Experience in a global leadership position
  • Proven ability to build compliance programmes
  • Exceptional project management skills and experience leading large-scale initiatives
  • Ability to operate both operationally and strategically
