Salary £65,839.28 per annum + 10% car allowance
Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

Providing safe homes for our customers and safe workspaces for our colleagues is central to everything we do at bdht.
Leading a small team of compliance professionals, you will shape and deliver a proactive, risk-based compliance strategy supporting the organisation’s wider aims. You will oversee all building safety areas including gas, electrical, water hygiene, asbestos, fire safety, and lift compliance, as well as occupational health and safety.
You will also foster a strong health and safety culture across the organisation, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
You should have relevant professional qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, RICS, CIH, or equivalent) and proven experience in a senior compliance or health & safety role within housing, property, or a related regulated environment, with knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
Experience managing statutory compliance areas such as gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, lifting equipment, and water hygiene is essential.
You should be a strong communicator with excellent leadership and management skills, capable of building high-performing teams and developing strategies, including influencing at a senior level.
