Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland in Scotland is seeking a Community and Events Lead to grow and improve our community fundraising and events activity across Scotland. You will translate Fundraising & Engagement objectives into clear plans, budgets, KPIs, workplans and delivery priorities, ensuring activity is well planned, well supported and focused on meaningful results.

You will lead and develop a high‑performing team, line managing two Events Officers and a Community Officer.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more relevant fundraising channels (community fundraising, supporter-led fundraising, events, participation-based activity).
• Experience leading people or teams to deliver fundraising activity with sound judgement and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team: two Events Officers and a Community Officer.
• Grow community fundraising activity from individuals, groups, clubs, small businesses and community organisations.
• Oversee third-party events and supplier relationships; ensure safe, profitable delivery with strong stewardship.
• Manage income and expenditure budgets and monitor performance using data and KPIs.
• Support communications and promotion for Community & Events and strengthen supporter journeys.
