Smart Works Scotland is seeking an Events Lead to help deliver and grow fundraising events in Scotland, with the role based at our Edinburgh centre. This interim position suits someone who excels at detailed planning, enjoys building relationships, and wants a varied, meaningful role supporting women returning to work.

The role involves occasional travel to London, occasional evening and weekend work, and close collaboration with the Head of Events, Community and Retail Activations and the Group

• Support the delivery and growth of fundraising events in Scotland.
• Engage in detailed event planning and logistics.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Occasional evening and weekend work as required for events.
• Travel to London for induction, meetings, events and collaboration.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Events Lead to support the successful delivery and growth of fundraising events for Smart Works Scotland. This interim position is perfect for someone who thrives on detailed planning, enjoys building relationships, and wants a fun, varied role contributing to meaningful work.

The role would be based in the Scotland centre in Edinburgh, with occasional travel to London. There will be also some evening and weekend work as the role holder will provide key events support.

Smart Works Scotland is part of Smart Works Charity and this role will work closely with the Head of Events, Community and Retail Activations and the wider Group Partnerships team, who are London based. Therefore, there will be occasional travel to London required to support induction, meetings, events, and ongoing collaboration.
