The Green Recruitment Company has been exclusively engaged by a UK leading developer, owner, and operator of Bioenergy Assets in the UK to support their continued growth across the country.

In addition to their existing portfolio, the business has a strong project pipeline to develop and construct 15 further plants, each valued at approximately £25m.

The business comprises a team of high-caliber renewable energy and bioenergy professionals. To further their ambitions, they seek an astute and experienced Communications specialist to join the team.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the company's multi-media communications strategy.
• Act as the main press contact and media liaison, responding promptly to press inquiries as a spokesperson and coordinating interviews with relevant decision-makers.
• Create engaging press releases, articles, newsletters, and marketing materials related to developments, projects, and partnerships.
• Plan and oversee the design of internal and external marketing materials.
• Develop and design communication strategies for stakeholders, NGOs, local governments, landowners, and policymakers to enhance customer recognition.
• Collaborate with the team to generate innovative ideas and strategies to stay current and forward-thinking.
• Build and maintain relationships at all levels with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree educated, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Renewable Energy, Bioenergy, Energy from Waste, Anaerobic Digestion, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Waste Management, Large-scale Processing, Manufacturing, or Renewable Energy Infrastructure.
• Experience in creating targeted content.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Previous experience in event management is desirable.
