Job summary

Mava Real Estate in Dorset is seeking a Senior Commercial Agent to step into a leadership role and drive the growth of the commercial agency team. You will lead across Dorset, manage instructions from start to finish, and win new business.

The role offers flexible hybrid working and a clear path to Director level, with incentives and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial property agency or surveying.
• Strong knowledge of the Dorset commercial property market.
• Proven ability to win instructions and develop new business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the commercial agency team across Dorset.
• Manage commercial sales and lettings instructions from acquisition through to completion.
• Generate new business opportunities and secure new instructions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Undertake commercial property inspections and viewings.
• Negotiate transactions for landlords, tenants, vendors and purchasers.
• Prepare agency reports, marketing recommendations and client updates.
• Provide commercially focused advice across a range of property instructions.
• Support and mentor junior members of the agency team.
• Drive growth and success of the Dorset business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Agent to take a senior leadership role within Mava Real Estate, leading and growing their commercial agency team across Dorset.

You'll play a key role in developing the agency business, managing commercial sales and lettings instructions while winning new work, building strong client relationships and helping shape the continued growth of the team across the region.

Role and Responsibilities of the Head of Agency:

• Lead and develop the commercial agency team across Dorset
• Manage commercial sales and lettings instructions from acquisition through to completion
• Generate new business opportunities and secure new instructions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Undertake commercial property inspections and viewings
• Negotiate transactions on behalf of landlords, tenants, vendors and purchasers
• Prepare agency reports, marketing recommendations and client updates
• Provide commercially focused advice across a range of commercial property instructions
• Support and mentor junior members of the agency team
• Play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Dorset business

Skills & Experience of the Head of Agency:

• Strong experience within commercial property agency and/or surveying
• Good knowledge of the Dorset and wider commercial property market
• Proven ability to win instructions and develop new business
• Strong network of commercial property contacts would be advantageous
• Excellent negotiation and client relationship management skills
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading and developing a team
• MRICS desirable but not essential for the right candidate
