LGC Group seeks a Head of Clinical Trial Recruitment & Workforce to lead national recruitment strategy across NHS R&D and commercial sponsors in the UK. You will shape implementation plans, drive performance analytics, and align workforce capacity with trial delivery targets.

You will work closely with NIHR Infrastructure, NHS networks, and industry partners to remove silos, improve enrolment reliability, and ensure timely trial progression across sites.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive operational experience in driving clinical-trial recruitment and delivery within NHS or commercial sponsors.
• Experience navigating the UK clinical-trials lifecycle with HRA, MHRA, and NIHR interfaces.
• Strong workforce-capacity planning and R&D financial reinvestment experience in NHS.
• Deep understanding of post-set-up trial delivery challenges and recruitment analytics.
• Proven ability to bridge commercial industry requirements with NHS system capacity.
• Proficiency with data-driven dashboards to monitor recruitment velocity and site performance.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement national recruitment improvement workstreams with the Industry Hub Operations Director.
• Act as national authority linking NIHR R&D, NHS infrastructure and sponsors to improve enrolment and sponsor trust.
• Address bottlenecks at site level and ensure alignment with the Portfolio Lifecycle and 150-day timelines.
• Define growth benchmarks, track recruitment milestones, and address underperforming sites and study phases.
• Identify capacity constraints and redesign workforce and infrastructure to release research capacity.
