Job summary

Siemens Energy's Grid Technologies division is seeking a Head of Civil Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering civil engineering solutions across Great Britain and Ireland. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Project Managers to align activities with strategic objectives and oversee the full delivery life cycle.

The role covers supply chain engagement, business development through tender, FEED and delivery, and production of civil designs while ensuring regional

Qualifications

• A degree or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
• Willingness to travel to UK sites and global teams.
• Knowledge of civil engineering standards for TSOs, DNOs, and renewables.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary civil delivery team across projects in GB&I.
• Oversee end-to-end civil engineering life cycle, including supply chain and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulations and health & safety standards.
• Develop and implement technical standards and procedures.
• Manage civil execution sub-contractors.
