Job summary

Oldham Council invites applications for the role of Children’s Workforce Strategic Lead. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will provide strategic leadership for workforce development across Children’s Services and partner organisations, leading a dedicated workforce team and driving improvements in recruitment, training, leadership development and reform implementation.

• Significant experience in children's social care or related services.
• Experience leading complex programmes or transformations.
• Experience in workforce planning, recruitment, retention and OD.

• Drive recruitment, retention and succession planning.
• Develop leadership and professional development across the workforce.
