Brightsmith is seeking a Head of Carbon Partnerships to lead its commercial offtake strategy for carbon removal. This senior role focuses on building a global pipeline of buyers, negotiating long-term agreements, and shaping pricing and deal structures.

You will work with the CEO and leadership, own the commercial roadmap, and drive opportunities across the voluntary carbon market, with significant ownership of deal execution and revenue growth.

Formación

• Strong understanding of voluntary carbon markets and carbon removal.
• Proven experience closing significant carbon credit transactions, offtake agreements or comparable complex commercial contracts.
• Experience developing commercial strategies and building sales pipelines.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing relationships with corporate buyers and commercial partners.
• Ability to develop innovative commercial structures and navigate complex transactions.
• Comfortable working independently in a growing business where priorities and processes are evolving.
• Commercially minded, proactive and motivated by the carbon removal sector.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy for carbon removal offtake agreements.
• Build and manage a global pipeline of corporate buyers, brokers and intermediaries.
• Lead negotiations and close complex, multi-year carbon credit agreements.
• Develop pricing, contracting and deal structures that meet customer requirements and commercial objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the voluntary carbon market.
• Monitor carbon market developments and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Work closely with finance, operations and technical teams to ensure agreements are commercially viable and deliverable.
