Join Police Digital Service as Head of Change and Benefits start at £80,000
The Head of Change and Benefits will provide oversight of all change and benefits across the Police Digital Service portfolio. This role will act as the pivotal link between PDS SMT's, Engagement/Account Management Teams, SRO's, Home Office and policing leaders to ensure that each initiative provides benefits for policing and that these benefits are deployed successfully.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible and effective leadership of business change and benefits management activity. Develop a clear vision and standards.
- Champion the use of best practise business change and benefits management standards, tools and processes.
- Lead and facilitate change management, ensuring correct methodologies and documentation are maintained.
- Develop and maintains the PDS benefits management framework.
- Produces the PDS portfolio level benefits realisation plan and reports progress to key stakeholders and boards.
- Provide training and awareness-building sessions on the application of the PDS benefits management & change framework.
- Provide assurance and support to initiatives in deployment and adoption plans to deliver technology enabled business change and achievability of business benefits.
- Support the development of the portfolio and initiative change plans with PPM delivery teams.
- Provide advice and support on the development of business cases, lead on the change and benefits management elements. Ensure that business case benefit forecasts are consistent with the benefits eligibility rules.
- Provide advice and support to PPM and BAU teams on the development of initiative level benefit forecasts and benefit management strategies.
- Provide key data for the organisation's change and benefits plans, as well as provide input into the overall portfolio plan.
- Line management of business change, delivery support, business analyst and business testing teams to ensure that fit for purpose solutions are developed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant experience of delivering large scale, multi-organisation changes of digital solutions through Project/Programme Management.
- Knowledge of delivering change in the public sector.
- Ability to multi-task, working on several projects at any given time.
- Line management experience and ability to lead and motivate change teams.
- Significant experience of working within a technical digital environment.
- Experience and knowledge of benefits identification, tacking and realisation processes and techniques within a large project/programme/portfolio or business environment.
- Knowledge of business and change management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of programme and project management approaches such as MSP and PRINCE 2.
Desirable Attributes:
- Management of Portfolios Practitioner or similar recognised portfolio management qualification.
- Knowledge of test management and business analysis techniques.
- Change Management Practitioner or similar recognised Change Management qualification.

Working Arrangements
