Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Head of Business Change to lead a global transformation capability. You will translate ambitious strategy into an integrated change plan, prioritise capability, and ensure resources align to strategic programmes across the organisation.

You will oversee change impact, readiness, engagement, communications, learning and adoption while maturing our change standards and exploring innovative approaches, including AI, to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of senior change professionals (10–15 reports) and shape the global change capability.
• Own a portfolio-wide change plan and translate strategic direction into delivery priorities.
• Oversee change impact assessments, organisational readiness, engagement, communications, learning and adoption activities.
• Develop globally consistent change standards, methodologies and ways of working.
• Explore and apply innovative approaches, technology and AI to enhance change effectiveness.
• Partner with other senior leaders to develop talent and foster a high-performing culture.

Are you an experienced transformation leader who knows how to turn ambitious strategy into change that actually lands and lasts?

We’re looking for a Head of Business Change to join our Business Change team at Specsavers. This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity with a global remit, leading a team of senior change professionals and shaping how we deliver, adopt and embed change across some of our most important strategic programmes.

This is much more than leading individual change programmes. You’ll take a portfolio-wide view, translating our strategic direction into an integrated change plan and ensuring we have the right priorities, capability and resources in place. You’ll oversee everything from change impact and organisational readiness through to engagement, communications, learning and adoption, making sure transformation delivers meaningful and sustainable business outcomes.

You’ll also have the opportunity to shape the future of Business Change at Specsavers. Leading a team of 10–15 direct and indirect reports, you’ll continue to mature our change capability, developing globally consistent standards, methodologies and ways of working while exploring how innovative approaches, technology and AI can make change more effective. You’ll lead through other senior leaders, develop future talent and create a high-performing culture built around collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone with significant senior leadership experience across business change or enterprise transformation, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-programme change in a global organisation. You’ll bring strong knowledge of organisational readiness, adoption and benefits realisation, alongside the commercial judgement and strategic thinking needed to prioritise activity and make informed decisions in a complex environment.

Just as importantly, you’ll be a highly credible and influential leader. You’ll build trusted relationships across regional, functional and global leadership teams, using insight, evidence and compelling storytelling to challenge thinking, influence strategic decisions and ensure our organisation is genuinely ready for change.
