An ambitious and inclusive all-through academy in North East London is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Head of Business and Economics to lead a thriving department that delivers consistently strong outcomes and engages students across Key Stages 4 and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Business and Economics department to ensure high-quality teaching and excellent progress across Years 10–13.

Deliver and develop a curriculum that is innovative, engaging, and rooted in real-world application.

Foster a dynamic, aspirational learning environment where students are inspired to achieve.

Support and mentor staff to promote continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of academic and personal development.

The ideal candidate will:

Be a skilled and passionate teacher of Business and/or Economics with leadership experience or clear potential.

Have a strong understanding of curriculum design and delivery at KS4 and KS5.

Demonstrate drive, ambition, and a commitment to student success.

Be confident in using technology and innovative methods to enhance learning.

Bring energy, initiative, and a collaborative approach to departmental leadership.
