This full-time maternity cover position is set to begin in September 2025, with interviews to be arranged immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a thriving department and deliver Business and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear vision for excellent teaching, strong leadership, and a passion for raising student achievement.

Job Role Requirements:

• Lead and manage the Business & Economics department effectively.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across GCSE and A-Level Business and Economics.
• Monitor and track student progress to ensure high achievement.
• Contribute to whole-school initiatives and development.
• Foster a learning environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and academic growth.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics at KS4 and KS5.
• Leadership experience or the desire and capacity to lead a department.
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all students.
• Commitment to professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
