Conrad Consulting Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Director of Building Surveying to lead and grow the firm's Building Surveying service across Scotland, leveraging established client relationships and a strong technical base to drive high-quality consultancy delivery.

You will shape the service strategy, manage a multidisciplinary team, and lead business development to secure new opportunities while overseeing fee generation and financial performance.

Qualifications

• MRICS with significant post-chartership experience.
• Strong technical background in Building Surveying, ideally within a consultancy.
• Proven experience managing and developing client relationships.
• Demonstrable track record of business development and fee generation.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of Building Surveyors.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Building Surveying team, providing technical guidance, mentoring and support.
• Drive business development activities, identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
• Oversee the delivery of Building Surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial property and construction projects.
• Take responsibility for fee generation, financial performance and the continued growth of the department.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration and refurbishment projects.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Play an active role in recruitment, succession planning and the wider development of the business.
