Job summary

Venn Group invites applications for Head of Assurance at a large NHS Trust in Surrey. The role leads the new Assurance function, driving statutory compliance, governance, and operational excellence across a complex healthcare estate.

You will oversee compliance, health & safety, asset management, and engineering assurance, coordinating with Estates, Capital, Quality and Sustainability teams to deliver continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Senior Estates & Facilities compliance/engineering leadership experience.
• Qualification in technical or engineering field with CPD.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and NHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust-wide Assurance function and statutory compliance.
• Develop and implement a compliance and assurance strategy.
• Provide leadership on hard services compliance and asset management.
• Monitor compliance performance and deliver assurance reporting to executives.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across compliance, health & safety, CAD/BIM, and utilities.
