As the Head of Architecture Practice, you will play a key role in shaping our technology landscape, ensuring systems and processes align with strategic goals. This role is vital in driving innovation and improving our services for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Staffing and Management: Collaborate with product and platform teams to provide staffing, monitor supply and demand, and manage expenditures.
• Governance and Standards: Oversee practice governance, develop forums, and ensure smooth processes and standards.
• Professional Development: Lead the architecture profession, develop coaching pathways, and manage tooling and artifact standards.
• Quality and Accountability: Ensure quality for deliverables, serve as contact for methods and standards, and foster the architecture community.
• Strategic Alignment and Trends: Communicate practice direction, align with business strategy, analyze industry trends, and participate in governance forums.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant experience as an architecture practitioner, especially in software and platform engineering, preferably in regulated industries.
• Experience in practice management within a global, complex, multi-P&L organization.
• Extensive software architecture, design, development, and engineering experience.
• Strong talent development and coaching skills, with a record of developing high-performing practitioners.
• Experience working in matrix structures, effectively brokering outcomes with colleagues and peers.
• Experience with architecture design, modeling, and documentation tools, ideally Ardoq / Hopex.
• Commercial experience managing budgets, planning, and optimization.
