Job summary

The FCA is seeking a permanent Head of AI & Technology Security Operations to strengthen its digital and AI risk posture. This senior role leads a large team across London, Leeds and Edinburgh, directing service-critical security operations and resilience programs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in digital and AI security operations.
• Experience operating at scale in fast-moving digital environments.
• Strong strategic and operational leadership capabilities.
• Ability to govern AI-enabled systems and complex infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and operation of the FCA's AI vulnerability and threat management capability, identifying and mitigating risks linked to AI model weaknesses, adversarial threats, automation and agentic AI systems.
• Establishing clear frameworks and controls for the safe deployment of AI, including human oversight, monitoring, explainability.
