Financial Conduct Authority in London is seeking a permanent Head of AI & Technology Security Operations. You will lead a large multidisciplinary department across AI security, resilience, incidents and supplier management, shaping IT strategy and risk governance.

Based in London with roles in Leeds and Edinburgh, you will report to the Chief Information Officer within the Data, Technology, and Innovation Division, overseeing AI live service, service desk, continuity planning and supplier

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI experience, including recent AI technologies.
• Familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks relating to operational resilience, cyber resilience, and AI governance.
• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and operation of the FCA's AI vulnerability and threat management capability.
• Establish clear frameworks and controls for safe deployment of AI with human oversight and explainability.
• Oversee AI governance, risk classification and oversight of AI-enabled services across the organisation.
