Job summary

Geordie AI is seeking a Head of Security to build and own the security program enabling rapid growth without compromising trust. You will lead product security, governance and AI-native risk management, partnering with Engineering and leadership to scale securely.

You'll own ISMS, security policy, incident response, and customer-facing security posture, while growing a lean, high-performing security function in a fast-moving AI company.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security programs in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
• Hands-on security engineering across cloud and application security.
• Experience implementing ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Ability to own security strategy, governance and compliance.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own product and internal security for the Geordie platform and internal systems.
• Lead security engineering, governance, and compliance efforts.
• Develop and maintain an AI-native security program and ISMS.
• Oversee incident preparedness and rapid response.
• Collaborate with Engineering and the AI Lead to implement security controls.
• Act as Customer Zero for security implementations across the stack.
