Job summary

Sureel AI, backed by Warner Music Group, seeks a Director of Business Development & Licensing to lead the commercial function across AI rights, licensing, and platform partnerships. You will shape pricing, monetization models, and scalable agreements with AI companies, DSPs, and rights holders.

You will report to senior leadership and collaborate with Product, Client Relations, and Warner counterparts to drive adoption of Sureel's infrastructure in music, media, and technology contexts.

Qualifications

• Deep experience structuring and negotiating commercial agreements in music, media, or technology.
• Experience owning business negotiations with platforms, DSPs, or rights holders.

Responsibilities

• Own the business function for Sureel's negotiations across AI, DSPs, and rights holders.
• Negotiate economics of platform integrations including licensing models and revenue structures.
• Develop commercial use cases for integrating Sureel's infrastructure with AI companies and DSPs.
• Structure licensing and economic frameworks for an emerging category across partners and markets.
• Create repeatable commercial and licensing frameworks scalable across multiple rights holders and markets.
• Lead commercial terms and deal economics with Client Relations on rights-holder relationships and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Warner Music Group counterparts on commercial terms and strategic priorities.
• Provide market intelligence on AI rights, licensing, and deal dynamics.
