Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is building a new AI Engineering function across R&D and delivery. You’ll lead from the front, owning the tech bar, line-managing engineers, and shaping how personalisation, recommendation, search and agents are built and deployed in live products.

This founding leadership role requires deep experience shipping production AI, setting standards, and guiding teams through AWS, TypeScript and Python, while staying hands-on on critical problems and ensuring compliance with gambling

Qualifications

• Significant commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical teams or engineering functions.
• Proven production deployments of AI, ML or data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI R&D agenda across personalisation, recommendation, search and agents.
• Lead R&D and delivery teams; unblock engineers and ship features.
• Set production standards for AI features end-to-end.
• Stay hands-on on hard problems; make credible technical calls.
• Own path from prototype to live with real-time personalisation and ranking.
• Shape delivery with product, data, and leadership teams.
• Work within Responsible Gambling and UKGC requirements.
