Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking a Head of Financial Systems to shape and lead the finance technology ecosystem. You will partner with the CFO and internal teams to assess current systems, define requirements, and design a modern, AI-enabled Finance architecture that supports growth and strategic decision-making.

You will drive data governance, implement scalable data and process automation, and deliver a roadmap covering costs, risks, and migration readiness across multi-country operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with strong finance or ERP system knowledge.
• Experience architecting data, processes and systems for finance.
• Hands-on with APIs, workflows and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment of Finance tech landscape, processes and data flows.
• Define requirements with stakeholders for a modern Finance stack.
• Design target architecture, data flows and integrations.
• Develop data governance, ownership and quality controls.
• Plan and execute cleanup of Finance datasets.
• Provide a roadmap with costs, risks and transitions.
• Ensure migration-ready Finance data with clear ownership.
