Job summary

The Progeny Group Limited is seeking a Head of Advice, the senior first-line leader accountable for delivering advice across the firm, ensuring standards, processes and client service meet Consumer Duty requirements and IOAPC governance.

You will own and operationalise the advice proposition from the adviser and client perspective, ensuring advisers understand and deliver it consistently across financial planning, investment, retirement, protection and estate planning, while leading adviser

Qualifications

• Extensive UK financial planning experience with leadership in an advisory function.
• Chartered Financial Planner status or equivalent.
• Deep working knowledge of FCA requirements, including Consumer Duty and ongoing advice expectations.
• Experience delivering an advisory proposition at firm level.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Commercial understanding of adviser economics.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the firm's advice standards and end-to-end advice process.
• Set technical house positions on complex advice areas.
• Lead delivery of the advice proposition across client segments.
• Lead adviser performance, capacity planning, and revenue per planner.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and IOAPC on governance.
• Oversee integration of acquired businesses into the advice proposition.
