Job summary

Progeny seeks a Head of Advice to lead the UK advisory function, ensuring FCA compliance, Consumer Duty, and high-quality client service across planning, investment, retirement, protection and estate planning. You will collaborate with the Director of Client Proposition and IOAPC to shape and deliver the proposition consistently.

You will oversee technical standards, adviser performance, and capacity planning, driving MI, risk controls, and adviser development up to board level.

Qualifications

• Extensive UK financial planning experience with leadership in an advice function.
• Deep working knowledge of FCA requirements, including COBS and Consumer Duty.
• Proven delivery of a firm-level advice proposition with standards and ongoing service.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills aimed at a senior adviser population.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the firm's advice standards and end-to-end advice process.
• Set and maintain technical house positions on complex advice areas.
• Contribute to design and delivery of the advice proposition across client segments.
• Lead adoption of client value, investment, and product propositions across advisers.
• Serve as a member of IOAPC and contribute to policy decisions.
• Lead adviser performance, capacity planning, and revenue per planner.
• Own MI on service delivery, productivity, and capacity for reporting to senior leadership.
