Job summary

Investigo Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to lead the operational finance function across a multi-entity business in Watford. You will oversee transactional finance, treasury activities, financial controls and month-end reporting.

This role requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience, proven leadership of large teams, and a track record in process improvement and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification experience in operational finance or shared services.
• Experience managing large finance teams and coordinating audit processes.
• Strong background in financial controls, management accounting and treasury oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial governance, controls, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Lead, mentor and develop a broad finance function across multiple entities.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash management workflows.
• Oversee treasury operations, liquidity management and banking relationships.
• Drive change and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
